SOCIAL JUSTICE CAMPAIGNS AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZING
The problems and voices of immigrant Latina women and girls guide our daily conversations and efforts of organizing. Some of the problems that we have are violence and gender issues, sexual assault in the workplace, family violence, unjust immigration politics, racial targeting, domestic violence, language access, gender wage gap and separation of families, among others. Our efforts are based solely on the East End of Suffolk which have brought great attention. Our mission, objectives, campaigns, and our active community leaders have not only been interviewed many times by the media, but have also been featured on social media.
