Jessica Taggart started her fashion and art studies in 1993 at the "Geraldine" Fashion institute and "The "bellas artes" institute in her home country of Peru. At the completion of her first semester in the fashion institute she was given the opportunity to work at the prestigious casa de modas "Geraldine" and after a few years learning about the inside of the fashion business, she became Geraldine's head fashion designer at age 19. Geraldine the fashion atelier owner gave Jessica the opportunity to come to New York for the first time in 1996 as they studied the current fashion trends. It didn't take too long before Jessica knew that she wanted to come back and pursue her fashion career at the fashion capital. In the year of 1999 Jessica decided to immigrate to the United States and follow her dreams. She continued her fashion studies at FIT of New York and soon started to become familiar with her big new world...
Up and coming designer and trade shows, fashion week, couture fashion week were amongst others of her adventures in the fashion world.
As life and family took over she started working for an interior design workroom in Long Island where she was able to reinvent herself in the manufacturing movement beginning in 2004. She continues to educate herself in the designing and manufacturing field.
Jessica is now proud she’ll be able to share her knowledge as our cultural healing coordinator where she’ll be offering a variety of workshops to educate and empower our community.
Using her manufacturing skills she will be training and encouraging our clients to tell a brand new life story in their own personal way by creating their own masterpieces as they learn to take control of their healing process.
