Jasmine started her journey at SEPA Mujer as a social work intern for Stony Brook University. This is where she found her passion for helping the Latino and Hispanic community.
As the daughter of a Latina mother and an Arabian father, she learned that her diverse representation is needed in her community.
She is currently in the Advanced Standing Program for her MSW at Stony Brook University, one of the most prestigious schools in the country.
She enjoys reading books, drawing, and painting murals as her hobbies.
