EXCLUDED WORKERS FUND UPDATES
As of January 2022:
The date to file your taxes from 2021 is April 18, 2022.
Payments from the Excluded Workers Fund are considered taxable income. Although payments were sent with state taxes already taken out, they may still be subject to federal income tax.
If you received the Excluded Workers Fund, you must be on the lookout because the Department of Labor will begin sending the 1099-G tax Form by regular mail .
The forms will be mailed to the address provided in the EWF program application.

As of December 28, 2021: due to the high amount of ATM fraud occurring, Blackhawk has changed which ATM's are allowed to withdraw money.
To withdraw cash, you must present your EWF card and a valid photo ID to the bank teller. The teller will swipe the card. You will not need to use your PIN. The name on the EWF card and photo ID must match.
