SEPA Mujer's Health Equity Summit will bring together community-based organizations, healthcare and/or health service organizations, organizations against violence, financial institutions, faith-based communities, and multi-service organizations that serve minority, immigrant, and/or indigenous community across New York state to identify barriers to health, share culturally-appropriate strategies, and enhance skills and knowledge about the culturally component of health issues around minority, immigrant, and/or indigenous communities. Our aim is to achieve greater health equity for underserved minority communities by means of education and professional development.

- Understand various cultural considerations in healthcare surrounding minority, immigrant, and/or indigenous communities
- Identify paths to improve community health and create systems change
- Connect communities with partners who are interested in reducing health disparities or working in health equity
- Provide meaningful networking opportunities to foster new partnerships and new ideas for research, practice, prevention, and policy
