Georgette Beal is the Senior Vice President of Planning and Grants Management and Community Impact at United Way of Long Island. In her current position, she oversees the administrative, programmatic, and fiscal aspects of Long Island’s Ryan White HIV/AIDS program, Youth Build Long Island, and two COVID Vaccine Outreach initiatives. Prior to joining United Way, Mrs. Beal was a Health Program Administrator at the New York State Department of Health/AIDS Institute. In this position, she served as the Director of the statewide Ryan White Part B HIV CARE Network Initiative. Ms. Beal has an undergraduate degree from Cornell University and Master’s Degree in Health Administration from Hofstra University. She has worked in the field of HIV/AIDS for 27 years and is a founding member of the National Haitian American Health Alliance. Georgette serves as an advisory board member of Hofstra University’s MPH program, is a member of the Long Island Health Collaborative and a former chair of the Suffolk Ending the Epidemic Committee.
